According to an article written in the Ottawa Sun a couple of days ago, Jason Spezza won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. There was speculation going around that Spez might be moved at the NHL Entry Draft for a higher draft pick, but according to Murray, that doesn’t seem to be the case. I for one, thought Spez had a bad season, to say the least, but I don’t think the Sens should move him around just yet. He’s a valuable player who really makes an impact in the line up, and deserves a second chance. Look at the difference he made at the Worlds. I think if Canada had won their gold medal, he would have definitely been top two for the MVP. Spez staying = Me happy

In other Senators news, Murray seems one step closer to signing Neil. Chris Neil is a guy you HAVE to have on your lineup. He’s an agitator and fighter, and an all around team building guy. He’s done so much for the community in Ottawa, and is pretty much the heart of the organisation.
